  • Celonis are one of tech’s most recent success stories and in 2019, I had the honour of creating a new visual identity for them. Their world deals with complex themes such as process mining, efficiency and transformation but through Superfluidity (the concept behind the new look and feel), Celonis were able to present these themes with simplicity and confidence. As part of the rebrand a new logo, set of fonts, illustration system and palette was introduced. Other notable deliverables included a new site look and feel, various content, films and event marketing.

  • Geotab provide one of the world’s best transportation analytics platforms and in 2020, I led the rebrand of one of its flagship services, ITS. At heart, there are two core themes: driver behaviour and data. And to truly represent both within a visual identity, we complimented a technical, precision-driven graphical language with evocative, human-led, photography. This also allowed ITS to be flexible enough to deal with stories, large and small, while ensuring people remain at the heart of their world and what they do.

  • As Head of Design and Studio at what was then the largest independent music group in the world, I oversaw the design of a wide array of output across club, tour, product, A&R and brand. This included everything from album covers, digital product launches and promotional marketing to product and packaging design.

  • Swannay Brewery are a prestigious brewery based in the Orkney islands of Scotland, producing exceptional beer. In 2017, I designed a distinctly different contemporary range for them. Four beers that could sit alongside their heritage range but also have a strong vibrant and boisterous character of their own to help break into new markets.

  • In 2018, I created a new identity for Livity. The work that Livity does, both in output and practice is inspiring - connecting brands with authentic youth culture. So it was an honour to lead their first rebrand, draw a new logo and create a set of brand guidelines for them. Guidelines that were practical and simple enough for their in-house team to follow, but also inspiring enough to create future content with. A large part of the brief centred around establishing a truly disruptive yet authentic aesthetic for Livity, playing on the energy and freshness of youth. And to do that, we created a design system that would be flexible enough to house trends and emerging cultural shifts, yet distinct enough to always be recognisable by characteristics such as shape, colour and type.

  • Riz Ahmed is one of the finest artists of our generation, both through his work in film and music so it was a massive honour to provide the creative direction and design for his album The Long Goodbye. Raw, truthful and layered, the cover plays on themes close to Riz’s heart such as race, displacement and the changing face of Britain.

  • It’s fair to say HedKandi is an institution among dance fans, but in 2016, had started to grow a little tired. And nothing typified this more than its over-reliance of the iconic but clearly dated illustrated girls. To refresh it, I made the creative call to remove the burden of a cover girl and instead creatively focus on the wider energy of its music and environments. This HedKandi cover, Tropical House which I designed ended up being one of the highest selling albums in their history. Alongside this cover, I led the complete revamp of the brand including site, boat and event.

  • Photography has and always will be one of my favourite forms of visual expression. Alongside all of the design I do, shooting portraits through Well If I May allows me to tell stories of all the people I meet.

  • Following my few years with Time Out, and having learnt how to help brands in the travel sector authentically represent themselves, I’ve been commissioned to shoot marketing content for a number of hospitality groups. Above are recent editorially-styled samples of some of the hotels and resorts I’ve shot.

  • Following the Sprint 2021 merger, I helped pitch, lead and design the T-Mobile for Business 5G campaign. Built on three promises, the campaign worked on three core visual components, a simple but highly effective grid system clean type and imagery and a branded badge.

  • The Sprint 5G campaign remains one of the largest scale projects undertaken at Velocity with almost every creative in the department I oversaw involved at some point. The brief to establish Sprint Business as the market leaders in a competitive market saw my team create an interactive 5G explainer full of animations and deeper content. Alongside this, a YouTube series and a whole bunch of supporting digital and print campaign assets. My role here was to support with key conceptual and design direction and help oversee the delivery of this campaign.

  • Mambu are an ambitious and hugely impressive cloud-banking and fintech platform based in Amsterdam with clients such as N26, Tide, PWC and Deloitte. Through their innovative technology, they allow financial institutions to evolve and modernise faster, and in turn provide better experiences for their customers. The new identity and design system, created alongside Hendrik Hohenstein, was the product of a four month process that involved various workshops, consultations and experimentation. The end result was an energised look and feel that drew inspiration from bamboo, representing flexibility and stability simultaneously. And one that gave Mambu the confidence to grow and attract both new and established banks as clients.
